Demon Hunter Traits

[:1]In a similar vein to the other traits threads, I'm going to translate from Judgehype's list in french the traits available to the Demon Hunter. Bear in mind that the list is very short, since the Demon Hunter was the newest class and far from complete in the Blizzcon 2010 demo.

Level requirement: 10 or lower

Lightning Reflexes (5 points max.) : Increases your dexterity by 20%.

Toughness (5 points max.) : Increases your vitality by 20%.

Ranged Weapon Specialization (3 points max.) : Increases damage done by skills and weapons when the Demon Hunter is wielding a ranged weapon.

Unbreakable Will (5 points max.) : Increases your willpower by 20%.

Pound of Flesh (5 points max.) : Increases your chance to get a health globe on normal monsters by 20%. Also increases the amount you get healed by health globes by 10%.|||2 Questions:

1) is that X% for each point alocated?

2) what is willpower?|||Attribute that replaced energy about 3+ years ago.

TY for your tireless translation work Zed! The Pound of Flesh seems a bit excessive as far as traits go, doubling the rate of globes AND increasing how much they heal? Surely, will be nerfed.|||Quote:

1) As mentionned in the other traits threads for other classes, the french version is not clear on a few aspects, including whether the bonuses are for one point or the maximum number of points. I'm guessing its most likely the former.

2) Its the (mostly) caster attribute for Diablo 3, see here: http://www.diablowiki.net/Attributes

No problem Pound of Flesh is already a trait for the monk. Although I agree that it may be very powerful, I rather have it like this than splitting the trait into two seperate ones. As Blizz have said, it needs to be interesting enough that people want to take it, but not so powerful that taking it is a no-brainer compared to other traits.

Also note that I'm not sure whether this trait increases the healing that your character gets from globes or whether globes that were "spawned" by your kill heal more for anyone that picks it up. Its another ambiguous detail that I would love to find out more on. |||hum if lightning reflexes keep the 20% increase for all 5 levels of it a maxed lightning reflexes will grant an 100% increase in dexterity

if it sticks and start at lev 10 we can have it maxed out at lev

10 1 trait point

12 1 trait point

14 1 trait point

16 1 trait point

18 1 trait point

quite a nice boost at a early level|||great job on the translations. These are all added to the wiki now, and I extrapolated the gains per level. They were flat, without diminishing returns on all the traits I noted at Blizzcon. (I checked it on a lot of them.)

Were the +20% type figures not listed on other chars? I wonder how JudgeHype missed those, and got them for the Demon Hunter. They were listed on all classes in the game. Pity we don't have the Lore too, though that would have been a LOT more typing/transcribing for Zediono.

IIRC, the +% healing from Pound of Flesh did not increase with ranks, though the % to chance to find the orb did. I also wonders how that skill works with big bosses, who always drop an orb at 25/50/75% of their health. Do you have a chance to get 2, then?
